How to Print your Photos Class

Photos from your camera to your computer can take on a “life of their own.” So many options for your photo once it is on your computer; resizing, color adjustment, printing on various surfaces and the list goes on and on. What if you want to take your photo and enlarge it as a piece of artwork or even for competition, how do you do this without jeopardizing the integrity of the original photo?

 

This one-day workshop is designed to take the student step-by-step through the process of resizing, formatting, and computer corrections through popular software programs such as: Photoshop elements, Photoshop and Lightroom. The instructor will share the common online labs for printing and the availability of various materials to print on and the mediums that are available today. The goal of this workshop is to build knowledge and confidence in transform your photos from the digital realm to the physical – the possibilities are endless!

 

Class size is limited to 8 students and the fee is $35.

 

Students must register by Sunday, March 7th in order to receive their Zoom link.

 

Photo Reviews Class

The 2-week class is for students that are ready to take their photos to the next level by sharing with the group for feedback. The object of this class is to aid the student in taking everyday photos and making them interesting and exciting for the viewer.

 

Up to 5 photos can be submitted per week and John will review, evaluate and provide constructive suggestions and tips. John will review, evaluate and provide constructive suggestions and tips regarding composition, focus, exposure, camera settings, and camera modes to improve your photography. The class will be held via zoom so all participants can attend from the comfort and safety of their own home.

 

Students will be able to view their fellow classmates photos, and hear the feedback and suggestion which is a way for students to apply the information to their own photography.

 

This is a great way to improve your photography skills in a real hands-on practical manner. It will be a very informative, fun, eye opening and inspiring class.

 

The fee for the 2-week class is $45. The class is limited to 10 students.
