Summer is flying by. It is already August and where is the time going. Being a full time wedding photographer summers can get very busy. Often I blink my eye and summer came and went and Autumn is upon us. This summer I decided to take a mid summer break and go to a special healing place of mine for a photography trip--Acadia National Park in Maine just south of Bar Harbor. It is place where I can really commune with the sea and breath in the sea air and immerse myself in the rhythm and sounds, sights and scents of the sea. It is great place to capture these magic and timeless moments especially as the night turns to day and the day to night.
I took lots of great photos and had a fabulous time despite some challenges with the weather. In the past people have really enjoyed these photos so I thought I would do a series of blog posts on them over the next few months. I will not only be featuring seascapes but many of the mountains, ponds and forests that make up Acadia National Park. So stay tuned. I am also looking at doing a seascape workshop in Connecticut in August. Contact me for more information at 203-405-3329.
