People sometimes ask, do I do family photos? And the answer is yes!! I bring the same care, artistry, and high level of detail to the family photos as I do for my weddings. Part of that is providing location recommendations to make for a great family photo session.
I started my career as a nature and landscape photographer and later branched into weddings, engagement sessions and portraits. When working with people a signature of my photography is incorporating people into the elements of nature. This really shows itself well on this photo session by including the family with the elements of the forest, stream, lake and other natural features.
For this session, I suggested Kettletown State Park in Southbury. It has some really cool features including a bridge, walkways through the woods, stream, lake views and more. It was the prefect summer session location for this family shoot with Jena, Juliana and Dan.
We had a great time on the session. Juliana was into spins, jumps and lots of fun. Thank you all for a beautiful family photo session.
